Sergeant John J. Burdock
John is a Sergeant with over 15 years with the Indian River County (FL) Sheriff’s Office and he has 14 years SWAT experience where he was formerly a Sniper Element Leader and is currently a SWAT Team Leader. John is a former Marine Scout Sniper and has instructed at the local, state, and federal levels. He is active in the FL SWAT Association, IALEFI and NTOA. He has been a Training Academy of BAE Systems ballistic shield Instructor since 1996.
Officer O. Frank Repass (Retired)
Frank retired after 25 years from the Orlando (FL) Police Department, 21 served in the Training Section. He was the lead Firearms Instructor and Range Master as well as the Assistant SWAT Team Leader. Frank is certified in many areas such as Defensive Tactics, Firearms and SWAT Training. He has served as staff instructor for NRA, H & K and Singleton International. He is the author and editor of the IALEFI Tactical Handbook and has appeared on LETN. He is the first Vice President of IALEFI and is a nationally recognized firearms expert. Frank has been with the Training Academy of BAE Systems since 1999.
Lieutenant Martin F. Rowley
Marty has over 22 years of law enforcement experience serving with the Portland (OR) Police Department since 1989 where he currently serves as a Lieutenant. Previously, he served as the Assistant Team Leader and Team Leader for the Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and participated in more than 300 tactical operations. He is an accomplished instructor in all aspects of firearms. Marty served four years as President of the Oregon Tactical Officers Association and has been with the Training Academy of BAE Systems since 1997.
