Tactical Planning In A Correctional Environment

Finally, a course that is specific to tactics and events inherent in a correctional environment. This course is dedicated to the Corrections field and specifically addresses problems found in a correctional environment. With classroom and practical application, this 3-day course covers all aspects of dealing with situations inherent to the correctional officer. This course was designed and is taught by corrections experts with real-world experience. Each instructor has worked in a correctional facility with practical applications based on the instructor’s actual experiences. All aspects of force are included such as shields, impact munitions, chemical agents, batons and shock devices.

NOTE: Students holding a Defense Technology Instructor Certification will automatically be recertified in Chemical Agents and Specialty Impact Munitions.
